Sara Bailey proposes to take , Eliza Glover (a Black) apprd…. Susanna Bailey wife of Edward Bailey Crown Alley in upper Moorfields framework knitter applied to this committee offered to take Elizabeth Glover (a negro, a poor Child in the house) apprentice for any Tenure this Committee shall think fit. Ordered that if it shall be approved to the liking of all Parties upon [?] of the Child with Mrs. Bailey for some small time. It be then left to the Church Warden to bind this Child unto him according to the Custom of Parish Children and that Mr. Churchwarden Burgis do then pay the master Forty Shillings in lieu of Cloaths.
