Pg. 412 “Also at this Meeting it was agreed to accept of M^r. W^m Mayor of Brandon Parow the Sum of £40 to indemnify John Rice of the said Parish from all Expenses which might otherwise arise to him on Account of the nat[ura]^l. Child or Children on which Charlotte Herring of the said Parish is now pregnant with. Which Sum the said W^m Mayor this day paid into the Hands of the Clerk Corporation. Ordered that John Websdale a poor boy of the Age of 12 y^rs. be forthwith bound Apprentice for 3 years from this time to Mr Ja^s Hartt of Hingham who has agreed to take him for that term on being allowed the Sum of £2..2..0 towards cloathing him. Also at this Meeting it was ordered that the 8/6 per Week heretofore allowed Jeremiah Revel of Kimberley Should be reduced to 5/6 per Week”
