Frances Tarless: a stroppy woman
This exhibit details what we know about Frances Tarless, a middle-aged woman who lived in St. Andrew's Undershaft. She was a stroppy woman who was in and out of the workhouse, and often got into trouble with the workhouse master, Mr. Jonathan Tipple, and a fellow pauper, Mary Collins.
